Valet

Founded in 1883, Capital City Club is one of the oldest private clubs in the South. Located in Brookhaven, Capital City Club is home to an 18-hole golf course, swimming pool, tennis courts, fitness center, and multiple dining outlets.

We are currently looking for a Valet attendant with open availability. The capital city Club offers uniforms, hot meals, free parking, and a fantastic, team-oriented, and friendly environment. The perfect individual for this position is a team player who is energetic and enthusiastic.

Primary responsibilities

This individual enhances the member and guest experience and provides a warm welcome to everyone, carefully and efficiently parks Vehicles, and maintains traffic flow for all incoming traffic.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests to the establishment and offer professional valet services
• Accommodate guests by opening doors and assisting with luggage or other heavy items
• Assist members with handicap access when needed
• Direct traffic in the parking area as needed and assist guests in entering and leaving the parking lot
• Collect and accurately label keys belonging to guests to ensure their proper return
• Park guests' vehicles in predetermined areas within the parking lot, following all traffic laws
• Operate vehicles safely and responsibly
• Organize and file paperwork regarding guests' vehicles and daily transactions
• Accountability and personal integrity are essential, as the nature of the position allows access to a client's personal and private information

Requirements

• Proven safe driver and clean driving records are essential
• Ability to communicate professionally
• Customer service experience and friendly demeanor
• Ability to work in a standing position for hours at a time
• Ability to multitask and tend to several customers at once
• Experience driving vehicles with both manual and automatic transmission
• Organizational skills are necessary to quickly recall the location of vehicles and their appropriate keys

Compensation:  This position is paid hourly, plus tips.
