The **Security Shift Supervisor** will function as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. Supervise staff on assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment range. **Pay Rate: $18.42/ per hour.** **Location: Downtown Brickell, FL** **Shift: Wednesday - Sunday, 11:00pm -07:00am** **Perks and Benefits:** + We offer attractive Pay Options! Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. **Responsibilities:** + security Supervise the day-to-day security operations of an assigned client site. + Manage a team of security officers, site and/or shift supervisors including hiring/selection, scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, development, and support. + Ensure the client site is provided with high quality security services to protect people and property. + Build, improve and maintain effective relationships with both clients and employees. + Provide customer service to our clients by conducting safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and, if appropriate, emergency response activities. + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner. + Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. + Working environments and conditions may vary by client site. + Must possess effective written and oral communication and people skills with the ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the public in a professional and effective manner; must be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines. + Must be able to frequently prepare written reports and log in neat, legible handwriting. + Must be able to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions. + Intermediate computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites. + Ability to manage both common and crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently.
