**Job Title:** Aircraft Mechanic
**Location:** Goodyear, Arizona
**Job Type:** Permanent, Full-Time
**Job Overview**
We are seeking experienced Aircraft Mechanics to join a leading Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility. In this role, you will perform essential service, repair, troubleshooting, and overhaul tasks on aircraft and aircraft engines, ensuring continued airworthiness and strict compliance with FAA regulations. You will work as part of a skilled technical team dedicated to maintaining aircraft systems and structures.
**Primary Responsibilities**
+ Perform repairs, replacements, and rebuilds on aircraft structures, systems, and components
+ Assemble and install mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, plumbing, and structural components using hand and power tools
+ Adjust, align, and calibrate aircraft systems utilizing specialized tools and equipment including shears, sheet metal brakes, welding gear, rivet guns, and drills
+ Interpret FAA technical data to support maintenance assignments
+ Document all maintenance activities thoroughly and accurately
+ Complete all assigned work in accordance with FAA-approved data
+ Ensure all work performed meets airworthiness standards
**Required Skills & Experience**
+ Minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial or cargo aircraft maintenance
+ High school diploma or GED
+ Willingness and flexibility to work any assigned shift
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License
+ Experience with large commercial aircraft preferred; corporate, general, or military aircraft experience will be considered
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
+ Proficient in documenting maintenance actions using approved forms
+ Effective verbal and written communication skills
+ Proven ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive work materials

**Work Schedule & Environment**
Applicants must be available to work flexible shifts, including Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday schedules.
Shift options include:
+ 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
+ 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM (includes $0.50/hour shift differential)
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $83200.00/yr.
