As 1st Officer, your main responsibility is to help keep guests, crew, and the ship safe at all times. This includes morning and evening watch-keeping duties assigned by the Master. You will ensure compliance with all safety, security, and environmental regulations, and carry out safety rounds, reporting any significant events to the Master and/or Staff Captain. You will also assist the Safety Officer in training the crew during drills so they know what to do in the event of an emergency. We would like you to join one of our technologically-advanced vessels if you graduated from a maritime academy, and hold an ECDIS certificate. You must also have a Chief Officer or Master license issued by a country that has ratified the STCW Regulation (II/1) convention.
