Boiling Point is a growing Taiwanese Hot Soup specialty restaurant with locations in the US and Canada. Purpose/ Summary:

Provide operational support to the Accounting and Finance department. Tasked with taking calls and replying to emails, generating reports, and assisting with big projects, this role’s objective is to efficiently handle all operating tasks within the accounting and finance department.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for timely and accurate supplier/vendor billing
• Reconcile daily revenue with merchant and bank accounts
• Posting inter-company order entries and purchase orders- Resolving inventory errors such as negative quantity and no price.
• Participate in the monthly financial close, mainly supply chain inventory reconciliation.
• Perform inventory analysis based on the monthly discrepancy statements and report the findings to management.
• Maintain clean and precise filing.
• Assist with legal and administrative tasks
• Calling and emailing vendors, banks, and relations in regard to business relations.
• Provide support to divisional accounting and operations teams and projects as needed by management.
• Routinely communicate with department manager to discuss upcoming project details.
• Completing accounting tasks if needed.
• Ability to work with diverse personalities and to develop and maintain courteous, professional and effective working relationships with outside vendors, agencies and representatives as well as with employees at all levels of the organization. 
• Maintain personal health and sanitation standards.
• Ensure compliance with BP’s code of ethics, integrity and conduct!

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bilingual Mandarin Chinese preferred.
• Software knowledge: Any ERP System, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Able to multitask and work in a team environment.
• Able to work in a flexible environment (not a routine job)
• All candidates are subject to a background check and employment verification process

Physical demands:

• Ability to continuously stand or walk.
• Ability to bend and lift occasionally.
• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally.

Work environment:

• Work will be conducted in an office environment.
• May encounter temperatures ranging from 32 degrees to 425 degrees around equipment in the kitchen if needed to enter that area.
• May occasionally walk on slippery surfaces.
• Noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud.
