What We Need You to Do
  • Manage and execute the full cycle of social media content: strategize, create, schedule, publish, monitor, and refine across key channels.
  • Develop a content calendar aligned with EverFriends.ai’s mission, product milestones, industry themes (aging, AI, care tech) and the MSU alumni community when relevant.
  • Write compelling copy with personality—stories about seniors, caregivers, users finding connection—while maintaining EverFriends.ai’s voice of empathy, innovation and respect.
  • Collaborate with product, community, and customer‑success teams to surface authentic user stories, caregiver testimonials, product updates, and thought leadership pieces.
  • Monitor social media analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs): engagement, follower growth, conversions (e.g., trial sign‑ups), sentiment. Use data to inform what’s working and what’s not.
  • Stay ahead of trends in social media, content formats, and the elder‑care/AI space; propose experiments (e.g., reels, live Q&A, user‑generated content) to grow reach and relevance.
  • Act as brand ambassador : respond to comments, cultivate community, identify MSU alumni tie‑ins or partnerships relevant to our mission, and help build strategic relationships.
  • Uphold our values in every message: empathy, dignity, innovation, and connection.

What You Bring to the Table
  • Bachelor’s (or equivalent) and ideally with a degree or some coursework from Michigan State University — we’re particularly excited to see MSU Spartans in the mix.
  • 1‑3+ years of social media or content marketing experience (startup or mission‑driven environment strongly preferred).
  • Strong writing skills : you craft concise, emotionally resonant copy and know how to adjust tone for Instagram, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, etc.
  • Comfortable working with data : you know how to interpret analytics and optimize content accordingly.
  • Creative thinker with a growth mindset: you’re ready to try things, learn from results, and iterate quickly.
  • Demonstrated interest in either health tech, aging/eldercare, AI, or social impact — and ideally all of the above.
  • Able to work effectively in a remote team setting , self‑motivated, organized, and comfortable wearing multiple hats occasionally.
  • Bonus if you’re familiar with content creation tools (Canva/Figma), scheduling platforms (Buffer/Hootsuite/Later), or basic video editing.
  • Compensation for this role is DOE, $85k - $90k per year
