Job Summary: 

Transportation drivers are responsible for provide safe transport of passengers throughout Grand Teton National Park and the greater Jackson Hole area. Drivers are expected to provide exemplary service to guests and employees utilizing Grand Teton Lodge Company transportation services, ensuring company Brand Standards are upheld. Drivers must hold a valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A or B) with Passenger endorsement and fulfill all additional requirements of commercial drivers as specified by the FMCSA. Transportation Drivers frequently interacts with guests and employees of Grand Teton Lodge Company and is expected to provide exemplary service to all

Job Specifications:

• Starting Wage: $20.00/hr
• Employment Type: Summer Seasonal 2026 
• Shift Type: Full Time hours available 
• Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age

Job Responsibilities: 

• Must hold a Commercial Driver’s License (Class A or B) with a Passenger endorsement and fulfill all additional requirements of commercial drivers as specified by the FMCSA.
• Perform pre/mid/post-trip inspections in accordance with FMCSA regulations and report any maintenance issues to the Fleet Manager and Transportation Supervisor.
• Safely transport passengers throughout the Jackson Hole area, adhering to traffic laws and FMCSA safety regulations.
• Adhere to shuttle schedules ensuring consistency in pick-up/drop-off times. Communicate with supervisor and relevant parties should there be a disruption in service.
• Provide exemplary service to guests and employees utilizing Grand Teton Lodge Company transportation services, ensuring company Brand Standards are upheld.
• Adhere to Hours of Service regulations and log driving and on duty hours as required.
• Maintain cleanliness of buses/vehicles used in the job and do regular deep cleans as required.
• Assist passengers to ensure they are properly seated
• Handle passenger emergencies and disruptions, escalate to supervisor as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements: 

• 1-2 years of commercial driving experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License, Class A or B with passenger endorsement obtained at own expense
• Good communication skills
• Fluent in English
• Current Medical Examination Report
• Pre-employment drug screen and random drug and alcohol testing as required by state and federal law
• Successful completion of Motor Vehicle Records Check
• Successful completion of FMCSA Clearinghouse Inquiry
• Successful completion of Driver Application and Previous Employer Check
• Knowledge of Grand Teton National Park and surrounding area

The expected pay range is $20.00/hr . This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
