Overview

The selected candidate must live and work from one of the New England states (ME, NH, VT, MA, RI, CT)

Reporting to the Director of Distribution and Logistics, the Senior Manager , Warehouse and Logistics is responsible for leadership, operational performance, and strategic direction of assigned warehouse and logistics locations. The role ensures optimal use of personnel, equipment, and financial resources to meet organizational objectives. Develops and enforces policies, procedures, and performance standards; fosters strong working relationships with internal partners; ensures compliance with safety and regulatory requirements; and manages budget planning and forecasting. The Senior Manager plays a key role in driving process improvements while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all daily operations and processes, including inventory management, receiving, storage, and/or distribution of materials and supplies. Ensure accuracy, efficiency, and operational safety in compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
  • Drive, develop, and improve operational/logistical processes that align with business needs and organizational objectives, ensuring communication and collaboration with clinical and nursing stakeholders.
  • Oversee and approve payroll, supply orders, and operational budgets. Participate in strategic planning for the Distribution and Logistics department.
  • Maintain key performance metrics and prepare regular reports.
  • Ensure assigned area and all storage areas are maintained in a clean, organized, and hazard-free condition.
  • Supervise staff. Hire, develop, and manage staff to achieve organizational goals. Set clear expectations, deliver feedback, and monitor performance for quality, efficiency, and compliance with policies and procedures. Mentor staff, foster career growth, and cultivate a positive and productive work environment.

Qualifications

7 years of supervisory/management experience in supply chain, including dock, warehouse, logistics, and/or inventory operations.

Proven experience with high-volume shipping, receiving, picking, packing, and/or fulfillment environments.

Demonstrated success in staff management, P&L responsibility, forecasting, and budget oversight.

Experience in a healthcare or life sciences logistics environment.

Proficiency with Workday ERP system strongly preferred.
