As an Access Control and Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor entrances, check badges, and conduct regular patrols to help deter security-related incidents. Join a team rooted in integrity, reliability, and innovation, where your commitment to people-first values will make a meaningful difference every day. **Position Type: Flex*** **Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour** **Job Schedule:** + ***Must be available to work ALL SHIFTS AND ALL DAYS OF THE WEEK*** + ***Required to cover for special projects, call offs, vacations and open shifts*** + ***Must be able to travel in and up to 20 miles from the Lancaster, PA area*** **Why Join Us:** + **Smart Tools:** Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more. + **Career Growth:** Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities. + **Financial Benefits:** Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future. + **Exclusive Perks:** Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program. **What You'll Do:** + Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the site location. + Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment within the site premises. + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal guidelines. + Conduct regular and random patrols around the site and its perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential issues. + Assist with emergency response activities as needed, in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal protocols. + Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual activity to the appropriate personnel. + Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted behavior. **Minimum Requirements:** + Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. + Access control and badge experience preferred. + Alarm panel experience preferred. + Must have exceptional customer service and communication skills. + A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
