School Social Worker – 2025–2026 School Year – In‑Person

Position Details

• Start Date: ASAP through early January 2026, with potential to extend.
• Schedule: Full-time M-F
• Location: In-person (Washington)
• Setting: District Wide
• Experience working with children with behavioral needs required

Your Key Responsibilities

• Provide IEP counseling services and social-emotional support
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings
• Complete IEP documentation and progress reports
• Collaborate with school-based special education teams
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Engage with families and community-based supports when appropriate
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to a collaborative school culture

What We’re Looking For

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW)
• Social Worker License through Washington Dept of Health
• ESA certification or eligibility to apply
• Experience in schools or special education is a plus
• Passion for inclusive, student-centered support and school collaboration
