NOW HIRING: School Based Social Worker in Trenton, NC! Location: Trenton, NC Employment Type: Part Time Start Date: ASAP Hours : 25-28 hours/week Position Summary: The Social Workercollaborates with the multidisciplinary team and provides input in thedevelopment of the IHP/IEP for students requiring social work intervention andsupport in the school setting. Key Responsibilities: + Provides individual and group counseling to support students' emotional, behavioral, and social development. + Collaborates with teachers, administrators, and families to identify and address barriers to student success. + Connects students and families with community resources, including mental health services, housing support, and crisis intervention. + Develops and implements intervention plans for at-risk students to improve attendance, academic performance, and behavior. + Advocates for students' well-being and ensures compliance with school policies, legal mandates, and ethical standards in social work practice.
