Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Public Relations Associate to join our team and support our communication and outreach efforts. In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing our organization's public image and building relationships with key stakeholders, including media representatives, community members, and internal teams. 

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and execution of public relations strategies and campaigns.
  • Draft and disseminate press releases, media advisories, and other communication materials.
  • Monitor news coverage and compile reports on media mentions and public sentiment.
  • Maintain and update the media contact database and distribute press materials to influencers and journalists.
  • Support the organization and execution of events and press conferences to promote initiatives and branding.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create engaging content for social media platforms and the company website.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to convey information clearly and creatively.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with media relations and experience in drafting press materials.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and content creation tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and interact with various stakeholders.
