Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join a private household. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming home environment. This role requires a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple housekeeping tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Cleaning & Maintenance :
  • Wash dishes and clean kitchen surfaces.
  • Laundry: wash, dry, fold, iron, and put away clothing, including handwashing delicate items.
  • Hang and organize clean clothing.
  • Make and change beds, including sheet replacement.
  • Vacuum and mop floors.
  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, and sinks.
  • Dust and organize living spaces.
• Specialized Cleaning Tasks :
  • Clean appliances such as the fridge, oven, microwave, and stove.
  • Clean windows and glass surfaces.
  • Sweep patios and garage.
  • Shining silverware and other metal items as needed.
  • Empty trash bins and set out trash cans for weekly pickup.
• Organizational Duties :
  • Organize rooms and closets as needed.
  • Retrieve, set up, and store seasonal decorations.
  • Prepare the home for guests, including setting up guest rooms and tidying common areas.
• Plant & Maintenance Support :
  • Water indoor and outdoor plants as directed.
  • Let in maintenance workers and ensure the home is secure afterward.
• Errands :
  • Bring in mail and packages.
  • Drop off and pick up dry cleaning.
  • Handle returns (e.g., Amazon or other vendors).
• Other Duties :
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.

Work Schedule:

• Hours : 25-30 hours per week (minimum).
• Mandatory Days : Monday and Friday (flexibility on other days as agreed).

Requirements:

• Must pass a background check.
• Willingness to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).
• Legally eligible to work as a 1099 contractor.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Fluency in both English and Spanish is a plus.

Compensation:

• Competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications.
