As part of this dynamic team, you'll ensure that each dish meets the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation, all while following federal, state, and corporate food safety guidelines. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** : + **Food Preparation** : Prepare high-quality food items following standardized recipes and instructions, meeting production and service schedules. + **Portioning & Presentation** : Serve or prepare meals for delivery, ensuring the correct portion sizes, optimal temperatures, and appealing presentation. + **Kitchen Cleanliness** : Clean kitchen areas after food preparation and service, maintaining high cleanliness standards and adhering to safe food-handling procedures. + **Food Storage & Organization** : Keep refrigerators and storerooms organized and ensure that all food and supplies are stored according to safety standards. + **Equipment Maintenance** : Operate and maintain kitchen equipment according to established procedures. Report any issues with equipment or accidents to the supervisor immediately. + **Safety & Compliance** : Attend in-service and safety meetings to stay up-to-date with food safety regulations and best practices. + **Team Collaboration** : Work effectively with coworkers, managers, and administrators to maintain smooth kitchen operations and deliver quality food service. + **Additional Duties** : Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the success of food service during events. **Qualifications** : + **Culinary Experience** : Previous culinary experience is required, with a solid understanding of food preparation, presentation, and kitchen operations. + **Certifications** : Must have or be willing to complete **ServSafe Food Handler Certification** and **Alcohol Safety Certification** . + **Positive Attitude** : A friendly, team-oriented approach to working in a fast-paced environment. + **Physical Stamina** : Ability to lift 20-40 lbs and remain on your feet for long hours during events. + **Availability** : Open availability with the ability to work nights and weekends.
