St. Pius X is hiring a full-time (11 month) Pastoral Associate. Under the direction of the Pastor, the Pastoral Associate shares in the administrative, evangelization and pastoral ministry duties of the parish. You will serve as a member of the parish staff, providing leadership, consultation, support and resourcing to various groups, committees, and processes in the parish. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
• Strong desire to serve others.
• Ability to build and foster strong relationships with staff, volunteers and parishioners.
• Capable of establishing and maintaining trust, confidentiality and flexibility with pastor and ministry leaders.
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Organize and coordinate work within schedule constraints and handle emergent requirements in a timely manner.
• Problem-solver with ability to think critically and implement resolutions effectively.
• Sees the big picture and capable of understanding long-term needs.
• Ability and willingness to provide guidance, coaching, and leadership to aid individuals to be successful.
• Ability to delegate while providing the appropriate amount of support and direction.

Education and Experience
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Active, practicing Catholic with commitment and fidelity to the mission of the Church.
• Previous ministry and administrative experience desired.
• Experience leading teams and/or projects.
