Hours: Part-time (Weekends; Friday, Saturday, Sunday appointment-based position) expect 8-16 hours week in the tasting room, plus occasional additional time commitment quarterly for Wine Club events

Salary: $16.00 plus tips in tasting room; $17.00 for non-tasting, office related duties.

Sycamore Ranch Vineyard and Winery is looking for an enthusiastic and flexible individual with a passion for good times and fine wines. This is a position for someone who enjoys interacting with people who are excited to be our guests and understands the craft of being a polite and cordial host. We need a part-time (locals only) wine tasting attendant who can pour wines and maintain the rustic elegance of our award-winning winery. Knowledge of wine tasting and the wine making process is important, but not a deal breaker- we can train you in the ways of SRV. We are however, seeking friendly outgoing candidates with experience in hospitality, food service, bar-keeping, retail or other public facing entertainment and event destinations. POS (WineDirect) and Mac/PC skills with excel are a plus.

In addition to serving in the tasting room, there may be opportunities for charcuterie prep, occasional bottling, as well as packing wine for shipment of website orders.

Our winery is open by appointment only, Friday through Sunday, between the hours of 11am - 5pm, except major holidays. All tastings are held either outside at umbrella covered wine barrel tables or indoors in our tasting room. Generally, we book 3 tasting appointment times per day, lasting for about 90 minutes that can include multiple groups varying in size from 2 - 6 people. Although we book all tastings in advance, schedule flexibility is required to meet our changing needs.

SRV is a small craft winery and ciderworks producing about 800 cases of premium wine and 500 cases of hard cider a year. In addition to our tasting room, our ciders are tapped and our wines are poured in some of the finer establishments located in the Inland Empire.
