The Neonatal Nurse Practitioner will practice in a Level 3 NICU within a hospital honored with multiple distinctions in pediatric care, caring for premature and medically complex neonates with comprehensive subspecialty access. The Neonatal Nurse Practitioner will deliver family-centered, developmentally supportive care in modern spaces featuring private rooms, integrated lactation support, standardized evidence-based pathways, and seamless consult coordination for neonatology, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, nutrition, and rehabilitation services.
The Neonatal Nurse Practitioner will report to Advanced Practice leadership in collaboration with the NICU Medical Director and Nurse Manager, receiving structured onboarding, mentorship, and ongoing CME support. The Neonatal Nurse Practitioner will lead delivery attendance and resuscitation, manage admissions and daily rounds, perform neonatal procedures such as intubation and umbilical line placement, coordinate safe transitions of care, support neonatal transport, and champion quality initiatives—alongside friendly nurses and a diverse team of neonatologists, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, dietitians, social workers, and therapists united by a shared commitment to exceptional neonatal outcomes.
