As a Loan Officer at Next Wave, you will work with homebuyers and referral partners, guide clients through the mortgage process, and manage a pipeline from preapproval to closing. • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of all required documents from borrowers, loan officers, title companies and other related industry professionals
• Oversee all customer interactions and ensure a smooth transaction by interfacing with realtors, processors, and underwriters
• Establish and maintain relationships with realtors, bank officers, builders, and the community at large in order to retain existing and attract new business
• Assist borrowers in selecting loan programs that best fit their financial goals and needs
• Exceed our production standards by maintaining an active pipeline

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of company loan policies and guidelines, as well as all federal and state regulations
• Exceptional decision-making ability, superior written and verbal communication skills, and superb interpersonal and customer service skills required
• Banking, business, real estate, or related Bachelor’s degree required
• Multiple years of real estate, mortgage origination, or lending required
• Previous experience with Office Suite and loan originating software such as Experian, Calyx, or LendingWise preferred
