ABC Pediatrics PA in Corpus Christi, TX located on 3533 S Alameda Suite 303 is looking for a Full Time Certified Medical Billing Specialist for our busy office. NO PHONE CALLS. Duties require preparing, reviewing and transmitting claims using billing software, working with A/R. following up on unpaid claims, researching and appealing denied claims, answering patients regarding their financial obligations, setting up patient payment plans, work on collection accounts, running collection reposts. Knowledge of insurance guidelines including HMP/PPO, Medicaid and familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT code essential.

Full Time with Benefits- Monday through Friday- 8am-5pm - Pay commensurate with experience

The Billing Specialist is responsible for posting charges in a high-volume work setting.

Qualifications

• Direct Experience billing insurances, Medicaid and commercial payers.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 Codes.
• Associate must have three years related experience and/or training, or equivalent.
