Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer Level 1 to join our dynamic design team. This is an entry-level role, ideal for individuals with 0-3 years of experience in mechanical engineering who are passionate about contributing to innovative designs. In this role, you’ll work under the guidance of senior engineers to create 3D models, engineering drawings, and prototypes while gaining hands-on experience and building your skills.

  Responsibilities:

Technical Tasks:

• Perform basic to moderate design tasks, including adjustments to 3D models and engineering drawings.
• Assist with material testing, field activities, and product testing and validation.
• Conduct research, computations, and basic engineering analyses.
• Prepare portions of project documents such as plans, specifications, and reports.

Collaboration & Project Management:

• Collaborate with internal and external project teams to complete tasks on time and within scope.
• Participate in field investigations and gather relevant data and documentation.
• Manage personal tasks and deadlines while maintaining open communication with senior engineers.

  Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience in mechanical design or engineering.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is a plus.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to new challenges.

  Travel:

• Less than 10% annually.
