Job Description

The Sonnenalp Club is looking for an On-Call Massage Therapist to join our Fitness team!

Wage: Commission ($50 for 50 min massage, $70 for 80 min massage)

Schedule: On-call shifts available 7 days a week, between 9 am-8 pm

Application Deadline: Hiring will occur on a rolling basis. Applications will be accepted until November 15th or until the positions are filled.

Primary Purpose of Position
Provide Club members with a relaxing experience by performing therapeutic massage and body treatment techniques.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform professional spa massage and body treatments compliant with the Sonnenalp Club standards of practice and protocols
• Uphold the standards of hygiene and sanitation as directed by law and the Fitness policies and procedures
• Maintain a constructive attitude and effectively work in a team environment
• Participate in support training and staff meetings
• Assist in Fitness operations as requested by management
• Correctly clean and re-stock treatment rooms
• Respond to guest special requests and contraindications
• Hold and maintain a current policy of massage therapy liability insurance

Education/Experience

• Must be a licensed massage therapist in the state of Colorado with a minimum of 500 hours of massage education from an accredited massage therapy school
• Must have a high school diploma
• Minimum 2 years of previous Spa or clinical experience is preferred
• Must be able to pass a criminal history check
• Must be available to work one on-call shift per month and attend trainings

• Must possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Must maintain a well-groomed and professional appearance
• Must be able to work weekend and holiday shifts and maintain a flexible working schedule
• Must be trustworthy and able to work under minimal supervision

Essential Physical Requirements

• Must be able to perform the physical duties that the job requires
• Must be able to stand for full length of shift
• Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, crawling
