Now hiring a qualified LVN / Licensed Vocational Nurse with Corrections nursing experience in Palestine, Texas!

Corrections LVN Pay:

• $1,473 - $2,009 Weekly.
• Weekly Direct Deposit Every Friday.
• Benefits Available; Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K.
• Plus Travel Bonus to assignment.

Schedule and Timeline:

• 13-week direct contract with a high potential to extend.
• Now hiring for September and October start dates.
• 36/48 hours per week.
• 12-hour day and night shifts available to choose from.

Corrections LVN / Licensed Vocational Nurse Job Details:

• Examine patients in the correctional environment, evaluate their response to treatment, and monitor their progress.
• Provide mental health and emotional support for inmates and when necessary, refer them to appropriate mental health resources.
• Assisting the Physician/RN with exams and treatments.
• Sick call with a Physician to see inmates.
• Prep inmates to be examined/prep exam room and equipment.
• Pill pass, dispensing medications, and required documentation.
• Control medications and syringes in inventory as required.

Corrections LVN / Licensed Vocational Nurse Qualifications:

• 2+ years of corrections, psychiatric, forensics, or emergency nursing experience.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing.
• TX or Multistate LVN license.
• AHA BLS certification.
• Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills.
• Patient-oriented.
• IV Therapy Certification.
