The Platform Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining software platforms and tools to support engineering teams, ensuring reliable and scalable infrastructure. Responsibilities: • Designing, building and maintaining platforms such as CI, Release, Cloud Infrastructure using primarily Typescript, Python, and Rust • Writing and reviewing code, developing documentation and disaster recovery plans, and debugging the hardest problems, live, on Aptos blockchain tech stacks. • Designing, developing, productionizing, and deploying new systems that enhance throughput, latency, reliability, availability, and security for the blockchain and the blockchain ecosystem services. • Together with our engineering team, you will share an on-call rotation and be an escalation contact for service incidents. Qualifications: Required: • 2+ years experience in backend software development • Experience with at least one of the following (Python, Typescript, C++, PHP, Rust) • Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly and simply • Passionate about developer experience and making platforms seamless for internal and external customers • Experience with at least several of the following cloud technologies: Terraform, Helm, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, Azure, or other cloud environment • Demonstrate excellence under pressure Company: Aptos Labs is a premier Web3 studio of engineers, researchers, strategists, designers, and dreamers building on Aptos, the Layer 1 blockchain built with safety and user experience in mind, enabling developers to build scalable, future-proof applications.
