Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Alpharetta, Georgia. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting HR operations, ensuring smooth processes, and delivering excellent service to employees and management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to various HR functions in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities: - Conduct and manage background checks for new hires to ensure compliance with company standards. - Assist with employee benefit functions, including enrollment, updates, and addressing inquiries. - Provide exceptional customer service to staff and management, resolving HR-related questions efficiently. - Utilize HRIS systems to maintain accurate employee records and streamline HR processes. - Administer payroll processes using ADP, ensuring timely and accurate payments. - Create, edit, and manage documents using Adobe Acrobat to support HR communications and operations. - Perform administrative tasks, including preparing reports and maintaining records using Microsoft Office Suite. - Collaborate with team members to improve HR workflows and enhance department efficiency. - Support recruitment efforts, including scheduling interviews and coordinating onboarding processes. - Assist management in tracking and reporting HR metrics to drive informed decision-making. Requirements - At least 2 years of experience in a Human Resources role or related field. - Proficiency in conducting background checks and managing HR-related documentation. - Experience with employee benefits administration and customer service. - Familiarity with HRIS systems for maintaining employee records. - Skilled in using ADP for payroll processing and management. - Proficient in Adobe Acrobat for creating and editing documents. - Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. - Spanish language skills are a plus but not required.
