Kingdom One is partnered with First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood located in Hollywood, CA that is looking to grow their team by adding a part-time Youth Coordinator Assistant. 

Vision for this Role:

To assist the Youth Discipleship Coordinator in connecting, coordinating, developing and executing discipling ministry activities for the Jr. High and High School students of First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood (FPCH).

We are looking for someone who will: 

• Attend  weekly Sunday School class and assist the Youth Discipleship Coordinator in teaching and Spiritual formation of the youth
• Establish and maintain a warm and Godly relationship with all students, particularly the young ladies, with the guidance of the Youth Discipleship Coordinator 
• Encourage and counsel the youth to better know and grow in their faith in Jesus Christ
• Work alongside the Youth Discipleship Coordinator in planning and leading camp and youth social activities throughout the year
• Assist Youth Discipleship Coordinator and Director of Christian Education in evaluating programs to ensure the current needs and goals for the youth are being met 
• Administrative tasks as assigned by the Youth Discipleship Coordinator
• Must attend weekly in-person staff meetings and/or Youth Ministries meetings as requested by Pastor, Youth Discipleship Coordinator or Director of Christian Education 
• Must attend monthly check in/planning meetings with Christian Ed Director

Our Ideal Candidate: 

• Have a clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a vital, growing relationship with him
• Read, understand and abide by the Essential Tenets of FPCH
• Experience in working with middle school to high school youth in Gospel-centered team building opportunities 
• Must be a Christ-centered team player
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred
• Spend time in daily devotional prayer and Bible study, praying often for the youth and their families
