Location: University of Memphis

• We are hiring immediately for a full-time FOOD SAFETY/QUALITY ASSURANCE SUPERVISOR, HOURLY  position.
• Address : 3706 ALUMNI AVE, MEMPHIS, TN 38152

• Schedule : Monday - Friday 8 am - 3 pm. Some weekends and evenings may be required. 
• Additional Job Duties:
  • Conduct unit safety audits 
  • Monitor and review unit's logs for completion
  • Conduct spot checks to ensure compliance with food safety and PPE standards
  • Assist in training associates on food safety protocols
• Requirement : Strong attention to detail; knowledge of food safety standards required. 
• Pay Range:  $18.00 per hour to $20.50   per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Prepare production reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
