Job Description
Summary The Teacher Assistant supports the teaching staff by helping to create a caring and safe environment for the children and assisting in activities to improve the overall care and quality of education.
Duties - Build relationships with children through play.
- Assist with activities in the classroom.
- Support children's self-help skills with dressing, feeding, diapering and toileting, and cleaning up.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the classroom and center.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements - Ability to work well with others.
- Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification (Applewood will pay for this training).
- Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.
Nice To Haves Experience with young children is preferred, but there's no better way to gain experience than to join us!
