Summary

We’re looking for dependable, compassionate substitute teachers to join our daycare team and support our youngest learners when regular staff are unavailable. You’ll play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and developmentally enriching environment for children from infancy through preschool. Whether you're an aspiring educator, a retired teacher, or someone who simply loves working with children, we’d love to hear from you!

Duties

• Ensure Safety & Supervision: Keep children safe, engaged, and supported at all times
• Support Daily Routines: Assist with meals, naps, diapering/toileting, and playtime
• Create Meaningful Moments: Help foster learning through play and hands-on activities 
• Follow Lesson Plans: Work with staff to implement pre-set plans and adapt to classroom needs with consistency
• Communicate Professionally: Collaborate with staff and families, and report concerns as needed
• Maintain Cleanliness: Help sanitize toys, surfaces, and keep the classroom organized

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with young children
• Ability to pass background checks and meet state licensing requirements
• Flexible availability and willingness to work on short notice
• Patience, reliability, and a nurturing attitude
• Available for varied shifts between 7:00 AM and 6:30 PM 

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of early childhood development
• CPR & First Aide Certification
• Experience with infants and toddlers
