Job Description

SUMMARY

Responsible for safely transporting Residents to/from appointments.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

• Reviews daily schedule for accuracy and completeness.
• Assists with boarding and disembarking of residents.
• Maintains vehicle logs.
• Ensures gas supply.
• Notifies Maintenance of any needs for service.
• Understands and complies with all procedures and regulations as related to Fire Safety, OSHA and Disaster programs.
• Adheres to proper safety procedures while operating facility vehicles.
• Communicates in an effective and courteous manner with all residents, facility personnel and visitors.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) also required.
• Previous experience Transporting groups of passengers.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS :

• Must have an active Driver’s license, CDL Preferred
• CPR Certification
• First Aide Certification
