Job Description

We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant/Porter to help with kitchen prep, clean and organize the kitchen and walk in, maintain inventory, assist with events. We are looking for a versatile individual who wants to learn from experienced chefs and grow with the company. 
The position starts with an hourly rate approximately 25-40 hours a week in the kitchen and also include assisting at events on site, which also includes tips. This position will grow into full time with benefits and the opportunity for paid education, once you show us how you can shine after 3 months!

A Kitchen Porter ensures a clean and organized kitchen environment, assisting with basic food preparation, dishwashing, and general cleaning tasks to support the kitchen staff and maintain sanitation standards.  

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining Kitchen Cleanliness:

  • Washing dishes, utensils, and equipment.  
  • Cleaning work surfaces, floors, and other areas of the kitchen.  
  • Ensuring the kitchen adheres to sanitation and hygiene regulations.    

• Assisting with Food Preparation:

• Preparing ingredients, such as washing and chopping vegetables.  
• Assisting with basic cooking tasks under the supervision of chefs.  
• Stocking and organizing food supplies.  

• Other Tasks:

• Taking out trash and recycling.  
• Restocking supplies and cleaning equipment.  
• Assisting with deliveries and receiving stock.
