Duties

• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow through effective four-handed dentistry techniques.
• Prepare and maintain the dental environment, ensuring all instruments are sterilized and ready for use.
• Take dental X-rays and ensure proper safety protocols are followed.
• Utilize 3D scanners for imaging as required in various procedures.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans while providing compassionate support.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling appointments, demonstrating competency in dental receptionist duties.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure optimal patient flow and satisfaction, particularly in pediatric dentistry and endodontics cases.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant of 2+ years is required.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and aseptic techniques is essential.
• Proficiency in using dental equipment including X-ray machines and 3D scanners.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear instructions to patients.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate records and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• State license as a Registered Dental Assistant is mandatory.
