Location: Dearborn, MI
Hours: Monday–Wednesday 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a sterile environment.
• Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
• Take dental X-rays while adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in accordance with clinic policies.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
• Uphold infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
• Utilize Eaglesoft for patient management and record keeping. (We may switch to Open Dental soon)

Skills

• We prefer experienced assistants.
• Proficiency in medical/ dental documentation and maintaining accurate records.
• Knowledge of infection control procedures relevant to dental practices.
• Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures, enhancing communication with the dental team.
• Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
• Ability to perform four-handed dentistry effectively, assisting the dentist efficiently during procedures.
• Competence in taking X-rays while following safety guidelines.
• Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members.

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
