Daycare Shuttle Bus Driver & Aide/Nursing Assistant

Aveanna Healthcare is expanding its compassionate team with a unique opportunity for individuals seeking a dual role as a Daycare Shuttle Bus Driver and Aide/Nursing Assistant at our Pediatric Day Healthcare Center. We are looking for dedicated professionals to provide safe transportation for our pediatric patients, as well as offer supportive care in our center.

Driver & Aide/Nursing Assistant Position Details:

Driver Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with transport nurses to safely pick up and drop off children at their homes or designated places, including field trips.
• Schedule routine vehicle maintenance and ensure the cleanliness of the interior and exterior of the vehicle.
• Assist in loading and unloading children and equipment.
• Provide compassionate care and supportive services to children aged birth to 8 years old in a developmentally appropriate center-based setting.
• Assist nurses in delivering daily care according to physician orders.
• Promote an engaging classroom environment that fosters learning and development.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Participate as a vital member of our multidisciplinary team.
