Treske Precision Machining, Inc. is a precision & quality driven machine shop. We serve: Space & Defense, Aerospace, Electronics and Commercial Customers. We are  Technology Driven  incorporating the latest CNC, measuring and robotic machine loading and inspection equipment. It is most important that our clients see our conscious efforts in providing a clean and quality facility. Our “On-The-Clock” training is for the improvement of all employees and we WILL TRAIN the right person for this position. The Floor Tech is also a vital part of our continued effort in creating an environment and culture that all employees are be proud of.

Responsibilities Include:

· Performing traditional custodian tasks and other related duties such as floor care and machine cleaning

· Offering rare assistance to facilities maintenance personnel in basic grounds maintenance and minor building repairs

· Must pay special attention to any area in which a customer may visit. This includes bathrooms, lunch rooms and manufacturing public areas. Positive customer impressions are important to our executives and this position plays a major role in making positive impressions a reality

· ***Must be willing to perform daily tasks as outlined in a written guide***

· Other duties as assigned

 

Preferred Qualifications:

· Previous custodian or janitorial experience a plus

· Basic computer skills- must be able to communicate through email and fill out a Maintenance work order (we will train)

· Have the ability and willingness to adapt to an ever changing production environment

· ***Initiative- must be willing to take care of obvious issues before being told to***

Physical requirements and job conditions:

· Able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted

· Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, and move about the facilities without and with carts and wheeled bins

· Exposure to a manufacturing environment including noise, dust, odors and the outdoors

Special Notes

· Applicant must possess and maintain flexibility when it comes to potential ‘off-hours’ and overtime needs- (mandatory overtime is rarely required in this position but occasionally expected)
