Global Associate Creative Director, Design — Dunlop Sports Americas

Lead the in-house Global Design Team and brand design vision for a family of three unique and exciting golf club brands. As the ACD – Design at Dunlop Sports, you’ll own, hone, and nurture our brand visuals and campaign creative that span print, broadcast, digital, retail and more. As visionary and leader, you’ll oversee a team of designers as they execute global initiatives, while still getting hands‑on where needed. You’ll report to the Creative Director, collaborate with senior leadership, and present and defend work at the highest levels.

Dunlop Sports Americas is the North America branch of a globally dominant sports equipment manufacturer. The ACD - Design co-leads our in-house Creative Team, focusing on our portfolio of fast-growing golf brands including the tour-dominant Srixon Golf, original short-game innovator Cleveland Golf, and effortlessly premium XXIO Golf. What You’ll Do

  • Own end‑to‑end design for global brand initiatives. Working alongside the Creative Team, concept, plan, and execute robust design systems across all mediums
  • Help build brand guidelines and set long-term brand vision for each of our ever-evolving golf brands.
  • Ideate, craft, and launch world-wide campaigns that tell powerful brand stories and launch exciting new products
  • Lead and coach the Design Team: motivate, delegate, set clear briefs, and oversee in‑house and third‑party designers
  • Mentor and grow talent by providing guidance, training, and constructive feedback that fosters growth, autonomy, and problem‑solving
  • Present and defend to the Creative Director and Executive Board; field feedback, manage revisions, and align stakeholders while upholding design best practices

Qualifications

What you’ll bring

  • 9+ years demonstrated leadership at an ad agency or in-house creative team with a track record of exceptional work, effective mentorship, and ongoing team development
  • Portfolio of brand-building and multi‑channel campaigns spanning broadcast, digital, web, print, and experiential
  • Hands‑on mastery across visual mediums and comfort operating a range of design tools. You’re as confident directing work as you are building assets
  • Sharp creative judgment on brand systems and campaign visuals with the ability to articulate and defend decisions to non‑design stakeholders
  • A love for the game of golf and a passion for pushing boundaries with exciting, forward-thinking, award-winning creative
  • Global brand management experience with fluency in managing regionally distributed creative teams
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate/defend design decisions with stakeholders at various levels
  • Product marketing know-how and translating product knowledge into design choices is second nature
