About Us:
Vendetta Productions LLC, in partnership with Oaks Amusement Park, is thrilled to present Scaregrounds PDX, Portland's premier Halloween haunted house event! We are looking for friendly, energetic, and customer-focused individuals to join our Event Staff Team. This is your chance to be part of a team that brings spooky fun to life for thousands of guests.
Job Description:
As a member of the Event Staff Team, you will be the face of Scaregrounds PDX, ensuring our guests have a memorable and enjoyable experience. Your responsibilities will include:
-Taking tickets and scanning for entry
- Managing lines and crowd control to ensure a smooth flow of guests
- Providing excellent customer service and answering guest inquiries
- Operating point of sale systems for ticket and merchandise sales
- Assisting with any guest concerns or issues in a professional and friendly manner
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a warm and welcoming attitude
- Ensure all guests have valid tickets for entry
- Monitor and manage guest lines to maintain order and efficiency
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently
- Provide information about the event, attractions, and venue to guests
- Assist with crowd control and safety measures as needed
- Collaborate with other staff to ensure a seamless operation of the event
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to handle high-energy environments and large crowds
- Basic experience with point of sale systems or willingness to learn
- Reliable transportation to Oaks Amusement Park
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in various weather conditions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, or event operations
- Familiarity with handling cash and credit card transactions
- A passion for Halloween and creating fun guest experiences
